In Week 3 of Earth Doctors, students become architects of the future as we explore the fundamentals of green building design. You’ll learn how to guide kids in creating their own eco dollhouse or fort, using our printable template that introduces passive solar design in a simple, playful way.

We’ll also walk through the Sun Angle Activity, where students calculate sun angles across different times of day and seasons—using either kid-friendly math or more advanced zenith and shading concepts. With a hula hoop, a mock sun, and a printable sun chart, you’ll help them discover how buildings can stay warm in winter and cool in summer.

Our live sessions exist to support you: a co-design space where we mentor, troubleshoot, refine activities together, and build the creative momentum and team energy that makes this program come alive.
